about

"Do the Hours speak? If they do, this may be the language they use."

Twenty-one original compositions, each dedicated to an Hour of the Mansus. The original suite consisted of either twenty-eight or thirty-four separate pieces, but the others have since been lost. In 1906, Crossrow managed to acquire the manuscripts for the first twenty-one and made a recording of each; reproductions have since been popping up on both sides of the Atlantic. Due to the significant oneiric risk even a reproduction poses, all Suppression Bureau operatives should turn over any material related to 'Voices' and its original composer to their respective regional office for classification and storage.

- Detective-Symurgist Lullie Bridger-Simons, from a 1932 memorandum to the London Suppression Bureau office
